Mariannette Miller-Meeks (IA-01)

Dr. Mariannette Miller-Meeks, one of eight children of a Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force, was a member of the Iowa State Senate. At 16 years old, Mariannette left home to enroll in community college and later enlisted in the US Army at just 18 years old. After serving 24 years in the US Army, Mariannette has gone from private to lieutenant colonel. Mariannette lives in Ottumwa, Iowa with her husband and has two grown children.

Mariannette has been serving in the House of Representatives since 2021.
